Anji Forte

I joined TSB Bank way back in 1979, where I spent 9 years working my way up the ladder to become a senior cashier, this gave me lending authority and the experience to be able to manage a small branch. Whilst with the Bank I studied and achieved the following qualifications:
Principles of Accounts Grade A
BTEC in Business and Finance Grade B Merit
Diploma in Book-Keeping Pass with Distinction (96%)
I also spent a period of time working for the newly formed PR team attending many functions across the UK representing the Bank. To do this I had to attend a week long course on presentation skills.

In 1988 I joined Racal Vodafone (latterly known as Vodafone); here I was responsible for the Revenue Accounting and a small team of credit controllers. In my time with Vodafone, 17 years, I spent a great part of my career in Managing Customer Service teams and Call centres. I attended many training courses including Lotus, Advanced Symphony, Report writing, Business letter writing and a two week residential Management course at Henley Management College. I also have managed IT help desks and Sales order processing teams, 60 people over two sites.

In my later career with Vodafone I qualified as a Prince 2 Practitioner (Professional Project Manager), responsible for several large projects within Vodafone with tight budgets, short deadlines and few resources!!

Eventually, I felt I had served my time and after a couple of near misses managed to be offered redundancy. Whilst on Garden leave I researched my idea for a new Business in the pet care industry and also studied and achieved a Diploma in Canine Care, Health and Behaviour, Grade A.

I set up YourDOG in 2005 and it has proved to be a successful Business, providing many services to Dog and small pet owners.

I started attending the Mali Club in 2005 and in April 2006 got my first Malinois puppy Breeze, who I own alongside Kiss a Rottweiler cross and Fletcher a mixture of many lovely breeds. In 2007 I passed my Door Supervisor NVQ achieving 100% in the conflict management element. I have also recently passed my BIPDT.
